This site is currently under development (not all links are working), and we hope it will become a central meeting point for Pascall (and Larkins) Family Historians to make contact, find sources of information and files, and contribute to the site.
The Forum is already active and growing, so until the site is ready, please join us at the Forum.
The Forum and this website also cover the Larkins Family of the East India Company, who were frequently connected with the Pascalls of Dover. The Forum is primarily set up for ALL Pascall family historians, with a section for the Pascall-Larkins connection.
Peter Pascall
Peter Pascall of New Zealand was for many years the "go to" for Pascall family history research. Peter had been researching not only his own line, but most of the Pascalls in England in the hopes of finding the elusive connection between the "Pascall Sweets" line and the Dover (East India Company) line.
Sadly, Peter passed away on the 29th January 2010. Our condolences to his wife Nina and family. We hope to continue Peter's work, and this website is in part, a dedication to Peter.
Pascall One-Name Study
Sue Fisher-Pascall has now registered with the Guild of One-Name Studies ("GOON") for the surname Pascall. Sue was the 6,000th member to join the Guild. The purpose of the Guild (and Guild members) is not to research specific family lines, but to study the distribution and statistics of a surname and its variations. Sue is also a member of our Forum. Sue belongs to the Pascall Sweets line.
The Larkins Connection
The Dover branch of the Larkins', who inter-married with some of the Pascalls, were prominent in the East India Company. Some of the Dover Pascalls also joined the East India Company and achieved significant standing. A portion of this website will cover this Larkins family.
